Drug use is occurs as prescribed by the doctors or other medical authorities or in the label of the drug container. That means, whether it is over the counter medication or behind the counter medication or prescription only medication, there are guidelines to use it, and user probably follow it. For an instance, if it is an antibiotic, the user takes the prescribed dosage for a prescribed term. But, in drug abuse, there is no prescribed base. Abuser can have the drug until he/ she reach to the state which they deserve. Although there are prescriptions or guidelines, the abuser extends all those guidelines, and that is how most pharmaceutical drugs are abused.
